Software - Environment - ROSEMAKER

  • Description

Analisys software that, from temporary data series coming from meteorological and pollution sensors, generates wind speed and frequency roses, pollution roses and calculates the stability matrix.

The roses are simply generated by selecting the station, magnitude and time period, along with other optional selections such as sectors number, colors, etc. Using these powerful tool you can extract conclusions from the data in a simple and quick way. The pollution roses help you to determine the origin of pollution focuses. The data and images export features can be very useful to generate powerful reports with an elegant way of presentation of lots of information.

  • Features

Some of the software features:

  • Station selection.
  • As for the pollution roses, you can select the meteorological data from one station and the pollution data from other station. Very useful when you have two near stations and one of them does not have pollution sensors or viceversa.
  • Rose type selection: wind frequency, wind speed or pollution.
  • Time period selection, even periods of some years.
  • Stationary period selection for the calculation. For example, you can generate roses from a period of 5 years but only with data coming from the months fixed by the stationary period selected.
  • Simultaneous visualization of multiple roses.
  • 8 or 16 sectors roses selection.
  • Graphic scale: automatic or manual selection.
  • Stretch classification for the sectors can be configured from 1 to 6, with assignment of levels of classification, colors and dead calm level independent for every magnitude.
  • Stretch visualization options, outline, dots, maximums outline per sector, labels, legend, title and axis.
  • Copy/paste of the images on the clipboard, in bmp or wmf format.
  • Save of the images in a file, in bmp or wmf format.
  • Data table generated by roses, for the frequency per unity per sector and broken down per stretch classification. For the speed and pollution percentage per sector, broken down per stretch classification and totals per stretch. Indication of dead calms and data under the detection limit for the pollution roses, and number of data.
  • Copy of the data table on the clipboard for direct paste on excel sheets.
  • Save of the data table in a txt file.
  • Generation of the stability matrix with 16 wind direction sectors, 6 dispersal categories (of Pasquill) and 6 speeds.
  • Visualization of the stability matrix in data number or in per unity.
  • Copy of the stability matrix on the clipboard for direct paste on excel sheets.
  • Save of the stability matrix in a txt file. Selection of the file format and file output for direct use in dispersal models (ISC3).
  • Simple adding of new stations and magnitudes.
  • Automatic data import. (Data type on demand).
  • Data saving format propietary or on demand, linkage to customer's database possibility.
  • Versions in English, Spanish and Catalan.

  • Notes

RoseMaker is an standard application but we can change its features on demand, as for example, linkage to specific databases, specific files, data import from any file type, specific roses, etc.
